Becoming a Big sister

Clearly, I failed at taking before pictures of the big sister room transformation,
but it looked something like this...
 and this...

BUT!!!

With a little paint...

some help from Santa...

some creative juices from AhHa and Gramma...

TA DA!! We have a big sister room!
She LOVES it! Everything fits together just right and it's just perfect for her personality and stage in life. We have a pretty drawing from AhHa of Belle's rose to go up, and then we're thinking of moving the letters of her name from the playroom up to above her bed. Still working on that part.

* If you're just now reading Christmas posts, keep on scrolling, you've got 4 more to go! Sheesh!
WE LOVE CHRISTMAS!! *

2nd Christmas

Let's start with Christmas Eve. About 7 hours after Gramma, Grandpa, and AhHa pulled out, Nana and Pop-O pulled in just in time to go to the Christmas Eve service at church. We went to the one without childcare, so Munchkin got to sit in church with us. She LOVED the music and the colored spotlights floating across the walls. She sat very quietly and worked on her quiet book and her coloring book that they gave her through the talking parts, and she was very careful helping Mister with his candle. Here's some post-church pictures.

Then, Nana and Munchkin hurried to get Santa's cookies decorated before dinner and bedtime!
Munchkin decided Santa needed 10 cookies, but Mister and Lady reasoned that maybe we should make Santa 2 cookies since Munchkin was 2 years old and that way Santa wouldn't be too full. (see what I did there? that's parent logic)

Santa asked Munchkin to leave some carrots for his reindeer.

Now, you have already seen the video of Munchkin discovering her big sister bed from Santa on Christmas morning, but just in case, it's right here. This picture pretty much sums it up as well.
Testing it out

Someone else quite liked Munchkin's present from Santa too. He goes up to snuggle her every night. If I thought he could stay in bed with her that early I'd leave him with her, maybe someday in the future.

Sharing with Daddy, they both fit!
Munchkin then opened all of her presents on her new bed, including a huge bag of books from G-Dad, which she proceeded to 'read' about 8 of them straight through.
Fun new spring clothes from Nana
Nana got the best gift ever! BUBBLE WRAP... I mean, a bowl... COVERED IN BUBBLE WRAP! Have I mentioned that Munchkin's obsessed?
Well, she is, and she had a HUGE pile of bubbles to pop.
One of Munchkin's other presents was Baby Stella, so she could practice helping with the new baby.
She's already a pro.
And a Doctor. We get check-ups regularly now.

A Very Baker Christmas

Finally getting to posting Christmas pictures! We'll do this in 2 parts because I just uploaded 50 pictures. Yikes. So kicking off our holiday break, Gramma, Grandpa, and AhHa (a newly crowned Master),  came to visit. They stayed until Christmas Eve before having to make the long trip home for Gramma to spend Christmas Day loving on new babies. (LAST ONE, YAY!)

The first day they were here, Mister and Lady still had to work (boo),
so Gramma and Addy made a mess  baked. They finished off some treats for G-Dad and got us set up for a sugar high to last a solid week.

No seriously, it was crazy delicious.
It snowed several times, but not much worth sticking. I think Gramma and Grandpa brushed off the driveway once. When you get to a "big" computer, you need to enlarge this picture and check out the details of this snowflake. They were just perfect crystals, it was awesome.

 Our little pirate elf (?)
 Playhouse time for the princesses
Reading Break! Clearly still requiring the eye patch.
AhHa came a few days later so we had to wait ever so long to open all of the presents that Gramma piled under the tree as soon as she walked in the door. Painful for the Munchkin! Finally, we were all ready and she was dying to dig in!
Mister and Lady had two big presents, and Mister enlisted AhHa's help for wrapping his, Gramma, and Grandpa's present to Lady. Totally unfair. Lady's wrapping job is demonstrated on the right by throwing a blanket over it and adding a bow.
Munchkin finally got to show off her creations for AhHa
and Gramma. She won the prize for making Gramma cry first! If you didn't know there was a prize, there is.
AhHa got to show off her new creations of some rocking hair bows for Munchkin... except they ended up in Mister's hair somehow...
Naturally, Dash needed to be in the middle of things.
Princesses, horsies, and castles!? What more could you need?!
Thrilled with her present of fruit snacks from Mac and Max.
Lady's big present was a housekeeper for a whole year!!!! Wheee!!!
This is what pregnant ladies look like when they don't have to clean for a LONG TIME!
Munchkin and AhHa exploring her new quiet book which was a lifesaver at Christmas Eve church service.
 Decorating some gingerbread guys.

About 60% of AhHa's candy and icing ended up getting eaten, crazy elf.

 The boys and their girl
 Loves, squishes, both?
"Helping" Grandpa. His man needed pretty significant surgery coming out of the box, so it needed a girl's touch to decorate.
 The Family
AhHa, Why are you eating the icing? Isn't that supposed to be on the gingerbread?
 "CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE"
