Cheerios with Dad
Munchkin has a new food love: Cheerios. She loves that she can eat them all by herself, and she loves that her Daddy sits and eats them with her, and they're delicious!
I'll take that, thank you very much.
Helping get a good hold on it
We can get them in one of two ways... this way...

Visitors
AntHill and her friend came through on their way back to RI. They kept the Munchkin home on Friday and then we went to Ihop on Saturday morning before they left again.
Trying pancakes
Magically delicious, I had to cut her off after about 6 bites. She also ate some of my eggs, which we've been struggling with for a while. Also, she has gotten WAY better at getting food from a palm grasp into her mouth. She used to not be able to do it, and now she can almost always get it.

First Snow!
So at first we walked into the garage and she just stared outside at the falling snow. Major bummer, Mister was driving home from traveling today so he didn't get to play with us.
Mom check this stuff out!!
Cold windows are delicious on teething gums. By the way, the second tooth popped through today. It's been a 2 dose of tylenol day.

Can I touch it?
This is all we got and they say it's done so I think we're SOL for a snow day tomorrow.
Playing in it
Woah, Mom is this ok?
I don't care how good your pincer grasp is, it's no good on snow.
Decided it was ok to play in
Annnnddd we'd had enough.

New Year New Baby
I had this really fun idea that I was going to take pictures of the Munchkin and all of the new things she could do on January 1st. That didn't happen. We were too busy prepping for the Lady's new "volunteer" job--> student teaching. Then I started January 2nd, and Mister and Munchkin had a fun play day all to themselves. Since then it's been a little crazy, seems like ages, but it's only been 4 days. Anyway, thought I'd catch you up now that I have a breath. First of all we're learning to eat proteins, she's not all that excited about them. I'm sure they taste pretty bland. Next, she popped out the tip top of her first tooth, and man is it sharp!
This is from Lady's last fun week at home with her baby. We played peek-a-boo now that Munchkin knows how to play, and tortured poor Dash who loved every minute of it.
Enjoying some of Mister's New Braunfels jerky
Big girl in one of her non-Christmas gift dresses. She has a whole stash of sleeveless dresses *cough* Nana *cough* Gramma *cough* so we're making them winter dresses with long sleeved onesies and pants.

Then tonight was a bath night, and my big girl sits in the tub all by herself now- with nearby supervision obviously- those tubs are slippery with a wet baby hiney. She LOVES to splash in the water and guess who is her biggest fan? Our Dixie! She has been on splash restriction for so long because the water she drank from grown up splashes gave her seizures, but baby splashes! Those don't actually reach the Dixie, so it's all the fun of watching for them and none of the bad stuff.
