Big girl food
So many technical difficulties! I think I got this video loaded now through YouTube. It was too big for this site or for Facebook. Anyway, I hope this works!
We got prepped and ready, made sure that she still had another hour before she would be hungry, mixed our goop, did it all like the book said. We had a very good session of 'learning to eat'. I don't know that she actually consumed any of the couple tablespoons that I made, but that's ok. On further review of the video I think she might have actually taken in more than I thought she did. She made some pretty funny "YUCK" faces. All in all, I consider it a success. We'll try for the next few days and if she still doesn't go for it we'll quit for a week and try again.
My little talker. We are using the Bunnykins bowl that I ate all of my rice cereal meals out of. We just discovered that we are going to get even more of this set that belonged to Mister as a baby!

EWWWW GROSS!!! It was pretty obvious that she was very confused about what these chunks were in her mouth. She 'choked' when it hit the back of her throat- like, Hey now!! I did not agree to this.
She got a little better, but it still just came back out again.
THEN, we discovered that we could smear it all over the tray, and that she liked!! She kept trying to lean over an put her mouth on the tray so I just put some of the cereal on there. We may have a little artist on our hands.
This is the picture of success! Lol

What we've been up to
The weather has gotten cooler and we've spent a lot of time with our windows open this month.
Muchkin has been practicing her sassy face. She will be 5 whole months in 2 days! I can't believe it! She is talking up a storm, she has rolled over both ways, but doesn't really seem to be interested in doing so very often. She does great on her tummy now, and enjoys laying around looking at things. She is pretty regular in her schedule- thankfully, and has started some pre-teething behaviors. She's even had to have some Tylenol on occasion when her teeth are bothering her at bedtime.
We went apple picking and chose our pumpkins for Halloween. Munchkin was unimpressed.
Good thing our Mister is tall, we needed him to reach for us!
Why are you making me do this?
Rare family picture!

Supporting the team
Yesterday the Horned Frogs weren't doing so hot at half time and Munchkin needed a wardrobe change so we decided to show our support by wearing purple and our cowgirl boots.
Dash is her favorite.
I finally got lighting that allowed me to pick up her eye color
Epic cheeks
Talking away
Happy girl
