Happy Independence Day! We celebrated $600 worth of fireworks belonging to our neighbors last night until 10pm. It was ridiculous! Munchkin was definitely not sleeping so we got her back up (after much debate- special occasion) to watch. Today we went over to some friends from our Life Group to grill and do fireworks. They got a big pool for their older boys, and realized it was a big much for their 2yr old, so they got a little princess splash pool for the girls. 

 They had just filled it up so it was still pretty chilly.

 Kiddos ready for fireworks.  The two kids in the front are twins that will be at Munchkin's school in August. We're pretty pumped.

 Ugh, such a good picture... and it's blurry. Apple needs to create an 'unblurry' button. 

Here is my panorama video of fireworks. It absolutely does NOT do it justice. This is probably the best place in the country to celebrate 4th of July, INCLUDING, watching them over the capitol. The fireworks just give me chills. The celebration of family, friends, and neighbors, is just awesome. So many neighbors gathered together with driveways full of bikes and all of the streets full of canisters to set off fireworks. 

Ok, so this was just hilarious to me. I realize it's pitch black, but it's just funny. This is the 2, 2yr olds who decided that rave-ing with their glow-stick necklaces was way cooler than fireworks. They would just shake them really fast and then just die laughing. Pretty cute!

 It was pretty windy so this was as far in as she got today. Mommy and Daddy put their toes in.
