School Days

Whew! It's been busy busy here at Munchkin's house! Lady went back to work for real and Munchkin started at Ms. Katie's. This was her first day outfit and no they don't even HAVE school colors, Grandpa. 

I am so thrilled with our decision to move her. She is happy all the time she has cried ONCE in 2weeks and it was the day Mister left for a weekend trip. Right now they're just playing and getting to know each other. They'll start preschool after Labor Day and will add a few more kids. I was a little worried about her new friends being older and if they would include her. Munchkin has thoroughly solidified her position as the littlest princess. They all want her to sit by them and they take care of her. It's really cute. I'll have to take a few pictures for you. 

Meanwhile, we've had some backyard visitors. Sweetness

Visitors

Here are the pictures of visitors that I promised you. 

This is an awesome picture because there are around 5 of these. Mister declared us to be good Mommies because we both just kept looking at the camera and smiling and laughing and the kids moved in EVERY PICTURE. 

 Then we got more visitors of TCU friends. Maddie was so kind to Munchkin and showed her how to work the games on 'her' phone.

Vacation

Finally some vacation pictures. I really need to get better at taking pictures on vacation. I missed some key visitors on our trip! C'est la vie!

We took a long vacation to see grandparents. We started at Gramma and Grandpa's House. It was actually quite the adventure to get there. We had several flight delays and arrived after midnight with a Munchkin who was still awake and kickin'! Mister... not so much. Munchkin was awake for the whole 2hr drive back to the house. She's such a trooper.

We spent as much time as we could in the pool! Gramma got a few floatie options for Munchkin and this one was her favorite. She loves being in the water, but she was a little unsure about not being able to touch the bottom. By the end of the week she would kick her way to get to something and loved to swim 'by herself'.

 We did have a little rain, but Munchkin made it fun by showing off her new jumping and galloping skills with Mac. 

After some shopping downtown, we all went to dinner and then to a concert downtown.

I missed pictures of a few visitors that came to see us at Gramma & Granpa's *see next post*. Also, I didn't get any pictures of Nana OR G-Dad!! Terrible, Lady, just terrible. We spent a couple days with Nana helping chauffeur  us around to see G-Dad's new place. She fed the geese and swam even more. We had even more visitors and good time just hanging out. 

 Time to head back home! We got to go through Midway which has a ton of "itchy skaters", you might know them as escalators, or moving walk-ways. Munchkin wet her pants before we even got on the airplane AND we ran out of diapers, awesome. (it was a long day) After purchasing a small 2-pack of diapers from a airport store, Munchkin rocked a very long shirt/very short dress. Thankfully, she's still at an age where going pantless is not a huge deal. 

 Munchkin does awesome on the plane (thank you tubes). She looks at magazines and plays iPad and eats snacks. Even if we go through sleeping times, she does a great job. 

Outside

It was a potty training kind of day, so we were outside playing. Muchkin had 4 successful potties and only 2 accidents during her waking hours. 

**Sidenote: today Munchkin woke up from nap and said "Mommy, my diaper is soaked!" LOL!!! 

Things you may have missed

Lady just uploaded all of her picture from her phone and here are some things you may have missed.

Lady and Munchkin went to the lake while Mister was traveling. It was a no nap day at daycare and this park is close by with a neat playground. We walked down to the water so that we could see the geese. We had a long conversation about not giving them "sweet pats" because sometimes geese can pinch you.

 Some of our summer days have been a little crazy.

 Munchkin joined Lady for a few Dr appointment check-ups. She came to the dentist and watch Mickey Mouse the whole time. 

 We went to a Minor League Game.

 They were playing the Round Rock Express, so we got to see Manny being Manny.

 Munchkin enjoyed the petting zoo most.

 And was actually snoring before we left the parking lot.

 This is Munchkin's newest friend. My parter at work has a son who is 6months older than Munchkin. We go to story time every Monday and then go to the park to play. This day, our park date happened to be rained out, so we went to the office to pull out some toys. 

 We've had some awesome summer weather, here. We had to do our weeding in fleece jackets and pants.
