I know, I know... It's been a while! But we've been busy, terribly busy! (Pooh reference obvi)
We bought a house! Munchkin is trying to steal the keys from her Daddy already.
So then we moved in, and Nana and Pop-O came to help entertain the Munchkin and help undo boxes. Munchkin loves to make sweet faces at Pop-O, this one is a squinty face for the sunshine.
Nana has the greatest job of watching Winnie the Pooh OVER AND OVER AND OVER! Munchkin wasn't feeling the greatest she was always appeased by her "wee wee wee wee"
Nana also brought Mister's old rocking chair that is just perfect for Munchkin! She loves to go crawl in and push her legs on the ground to rock.
Nana also brought Munchkin a new tutu that a co-worker made. It's pretty rainbow colors with sparkles.
The next morning Munchkin went and found it in her new playroom and brought it to Mommy to wear.
Here's the next big thing we did. Since we were moving in to a new place, after long deliberation, we decided to try putting Munchkin in a toddler bed instead of a crib. The very first night she was exhausted and went to sleep straight away as if she had been doing it forever.
This was her picture the next morning, still in bed! We've had a few escape attempts, but mostly she just wants to explore her room and then crawls back in bed.
This was last night, which took 5 replacements over 2hrs. See that blob on the bottom, that's Munchkin sound asleep on the floor. haha I moved her once she was sound asleep.
Last, but not least, Munchkin is adapting so well to daycare! In her first 3 weeks she has successfully transition from a crib to a cot, gotten rid of her bottle completely, and spends most of her day without a paci or scarf. They do lots of sensory crafts and experiences in her class, below is a glue and tissue paper craft. They paint a lot and just recently experimented with drawing with chalk. They also did some project last week where they did glue all by themselves and then poured sand on top and spread it around.
This is Munchkin doing her first puzzle. Good thing Gramma's on her way with a stash of old puzzles because this house doesn't have any.
