So I just realized that Day 1 & 2 didn't publish when I told it to. Sorry.
Day 3 is another fun pool day. Munchkin starts off the morning with breakfast by the koi and today we had another visitor. See if you can spot the photo bomber.
She's had some interesting cultural experiences this week. Many of the families here speak Spanish. Munchkin has had a hard time understanding why kids that she tries to play with don't talk to her. We had a long chat about speaking a different language and sure enough the next day she met a little girl her age in the kiddie pool that she tried several times to connect with. The girl was clearly interested but would talk and munchkin would come back to me and say, "momma she's not talking to me". I explained again the she speaks Spanish and doesn't understand Munchkin, but that's ok, they can still play. So they went back and forth copying each other and laughing when they got splashed by a fountain. The hotel also has a macaw named Coco, and Coco is from Texas but moved here and now speaks Spanish. So we've been practicing saying "hola Coco", until today when Coco screeched back at her an scared the daylights out of her. :) All fun new things!
