Look what Munchkin can do!!!

Making music

This morning Munchkin wanted to make some music. This is a new thing this week, she has been testing different objects to see what sounds they make. A few days ago I was getting ready for work and Munchkin found a glass bowl and the luggage scale in the bedroom. She very carefully held the scale so that the metal hook would ding on the bowl. So today she broke into my baking cabinet and pulled out the cake pans and a measuring cup. They obviously made fun noises so she played them in different ways to make me some music. Good thing Mister was still sleeping through this!

Baby Painting Party

We invited our twin friends and my partner from teaching earlier this year over for a baby painting party. These babies were all born within 10 days of each other. I put food coloring in some vanilla yogurt, we stripped em down and let em go.

We lovingly refer to our new friend as "the walker". She started walking a good 3-4months ago, so she's pretty steady on her feet now.

Celebrating Jesus

Munchkin's Nana came to visit for Easter. They played in Munchkin's new morning room for a while on Thursday, and then after a nap, Munchkin woke up with a faucet running from her nose. She gets VERY angry about you wiping her nose. 

Then Munchkin helped Nana with some gardening.

 Are you sure I can't help?

 Alright fine, I'll go find something else to do.

Then the Easter Bunny came to drop off treats for Munchkin.

 We got all dressed up for church, complete with our new ballet slippers.

 Munchkin has taken to giving her stuffed animals hugs and kisses. Kisses are something like biting them on the nose, but it's the thought that counts right?

 These eggs have things inside?! They turned out to be perfectly pliable for her little hands and she could squish them to get the puffs out. 

 Munchkin was totally apathetic about the bubbles she got, but Dixie LOVED them.
