Anniversary trip

Ok AhHa, here's a post. You're right, I forgot our trip last weekend to Kansas City. We had stored up enough points at Hilton hotels that we got a free weekend at the Embassy Suites on the Plaza in downtown! Woohoo! The Rangers were in town to play the Royals so we went down for a game. It also happene to be the weekend of the art festival on the plaza, so we spent a ton of time just wandering and enjoying family time.

Enjoying art in the kids zone. Took this for AhHa. We also met a huge Great Dane that Munchkin wanted to pet. His head was as big as our dogs. Very sweet. 

Enjoying a fabulous dinner at Bucca de Beppo. Soooo good but soooo many calories!!! 

Baseball, 3rd row from the top. Gramma wouldn't have made it. Munchkin got a special popcorn treat, woulda made Grandpa proud. 

More fountains

Munchkin's first carousel ride. She LOVED it! The Royals have an awesome family friendly park. Huge family area with playground, rides, batting cages, Radio Disney rocking out- it was very cool. 

Daddy made sure to get her a pretty horse.

A terrible sports weekend

However, Munchkin got to wear her new A&M cheerleader dress and it was pretty precious. She loves watching football and she likes to pretend playing football with Daddy.

Munchkin continues to love music and singing. Not much of an ear for pitch but it makes her heart happy and I can't complain about that! :) She and Daddy rock out to Katie Perry and Bruno Mars.

And Mommy helps her sing songs about Jesus. hahaha She wants to sing this song every night after we say our prayers.  Sweet girl. 

Touch-a-Truck

Today we went to an event called Touch-a-Truck that benefits saving children or something like that. Anyway, they had probably 50 vehicles that you could play on and all kinds of free stuff. We met our friend Will there, but it turned out to be a little bit much for both of them. It was very noisy and kids would randomly and frequently honk loud horns and sirens. 

 Fortunately, there were popsicles, balloons...

 free train conductor hats, teddy bears, sunglasses, and a frisbee. 

 She was pretty excited about the stuff and Will, but every time we went towards a vehicle she would pull my hand and say "no, Mommy, that scares me." Oh well, it was worth every penny we paid on it... nothing....
